The instructor is excellent with great teaching skills. He could explain all the difficult concepts in a simple and easy to follow manner. He is really brilliant and loved his teaching. The course is really interesting explaining the basics. The quiz and assignments are nicely planned and gave more confidence. Discussion areas also helped a lot. The course is truly inspiring one!!

Excellent course! The old traditional method of knocking out a web page with little or no programming planning or forethought is over. Web design has taken on a new meaning where "design" is now a required element. HTML5 is the next tool where the design is for the mobile device first, and then expand up to the less and less used desktop computer. Having created many web sites for many customers in the past, I have learned in this course that I have to come up to speed with the new requirements available in HTML5 and CSS3 and design for the mobile device. This course was able to provide the knowledge for that next step.

This was a wonderful course. It introduced me to technologies and concepts that I didn't know existed. After agonizing over developing an Android app, due to my limited knowledge in the Java language, I feel that I now have a much easier alternative. Thanks again for the information provided. It was invaluable.

This course was really fun! The chapter on CSS was worth it alone. Chris explained the principles and code simply for any beginner to understand and use with confidence. I liked the fact that each chapter stood alone and not dependent on the correct completion of the previous chapter's assignment. Some other classes do and you are stuck if you cannot do the previous lesson. In each chapter he provided a starting point from which you could continue on with the other concepts. The supplemental material is the best I have seen in awhile. I have much more to learn and he has provided a good launching point. The course instructions and discussion questions were also very helpful. Thanks again for an interesting course!

This course was recommended to me by a friend and I am very thankful about it. Mr. Minnick was very helpful in any way he can and always kept a positive attitude towards his students. This online learning will benefit those people like me who can't go to school because of work and many other things. I will continue looking for more courses to take.

Chris is fantastic instructor and a very clear and concise educator. What I liked best is his interaction. This is probably the first class I have taken where the discussion area was very much utilized and moderated by staff and students. I think 50% of my learning took place in the discussion area! All of Chris' resources are well thought out and applicable to the topic at hand. I would absolutely recommend this class to anyone looking to develop knowledge and skills in mobile web development.
